Peeping Toms?

Sorry for the long delay in posting. Things have been a little on the crazy side. My mom and I took the trip to Utah and Wyoming. (See last post for a few pictures.) What I didn't mention was that my mom became really ill on the trip. A round of antibiotics perked her up enough to get home. We've made several trips to doctors since we've been home. Mom wound up having minor surgery, so I have been staying with her. She still isn't feeling well and will being having different surgery done on Thursday. I'd appreciate your prayers that all goes well.

Anyway, last night at Mom's, I went to my room to change from jeans to a bathrobe. (Please note that these pictures were taken with my cell phone at after 9:30 PM through the window screen. See how light it was?)

We only shut the curtains on the back side of the house to block out sunlight. No one in their right mind should be out there looking in. Only last night I got the "creeps" that told me someone was watching.

This was my peeping Tom. He was only about 30 feet away.

Then I realized I had another peeper. This is a peeping Tomasina, er, Spooky cat.

We all stared back and forth at each other for at least 15 minutes. Spooky finally wandered off probably to hunt, and the buck got tired of standing. All this time, I had two dogs in the bedroom with me watching the buck watching us.

The buck stayed there until after it was dark. He finally got up, stretched like a dog, and wandered off up the hill.

You must look pretty hot in that bathrobe to have so many peeping toms! :)

Love the buck and the cat. I guess we're lucky that we have no deer in our yard, but they sure are pretty.

I'll be praying for your mother.

So sorry that your trip was marred by illness. And best wishes to your mother, with her surgery. And with soon feeling in tip top shape again.

Thank you all for your prayers.

Adrienne, Spooky does have a sweet face, thank you, until you try to pick her up. lol

Motherhen, I look like a blimp in my bathrobe!

Aunt Amelia, I hope you are up to blogging soon. I so wanted to comment on the beautiful swimming pool.

Trudy, thank you for stopping by. I hope we can continue to "talk".

Hugs to all of you beautiful women.

I didn't know you homeschooled! Are your kids teaching your grandkids at home, too?

What was your "style" (for want of a better word!)?

Roxanne, Thanks for stopping by.

No, unfortunately, my grandchildren aren't home schooled. They certainly need to be, but not by their mother. (Maybe cruel, but very true.) I think my son would have liked to, but he didn't have the chance. Long story.

I owe a home school post to several people. I will try to get to it and see if my daughter will do one or two from her point of view.

I am looking forward to reading what you have to say about homeschooling!

I'm "officially" in my second year (though we were homeschooling for years beforehand), but to hear what a veteran of the whole deal has to say will be great.

I'll take notes.

You and your mom will be in my thoughts and prayers. Glad your peeping Tom was not of the human kind!
