Update: 3:56 PM - No Mass - forgot that the Sanctuary is stripped today. We did have a service of Bible readings (lessons and the Gospel) and prayers and Stations of the Cross. Very solemn.
Good Friday. Snowing. Cold. Sad.
12th Station
(from Wikipedia)
Mass and Stations of the Cross at noon followed by fish and chips in the parish house. I'll admit that I'm not the most "religious" person in the world, but the whole idea of Christ being betrayed and being nailed to a cross - for us - really gets to me.

that is really 'gets' to you shows the lovely
state of your heart and reminds me of
mt. 5:3.
thank you.
Easter blessings to you. If it could have been any other way... We trust the plan because He is the only way.
Thanks for you visit and I am so sorry that your weather is not the best. Hopefully spring will come for you soon. On this Good Friday and Earth Day have a blessed evening and a very happy Easter. Madeline
I have removed my previous comment. I apologize for having put my views, in your comments. It was stupid of me, to do so. We each have the right to our own views/beliefs.
The whole thing that Christ went through for us is very touching and causes me to reflect everytime. I am very grateful.
Fish and chips sure sounds good, a great pick-me-up for a bad-weather day.
Also wanted to add that I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day with your family. We are going to spend ours at the beach. No rain in the forecast and mid-80's. Should be nice.
