Mom

One of the best moms in the world left this earth September 29, 2009. May she be free from pain. May her soul be at peace. May she be with God as well as her loved ones who left before her.

Yes, this was rather unexpected. Mom didn't know if she'd live until next Easter or even Christmas, but up until about 2 days before she passed away she was still planning on going on our annual October fishing trip.

For those just now starting to read my blog, Mom was diagnosed just over five years ago with an unknown type of cancer. In July, the cancer was still "contained" to a small area. Six weeks later, it had spread and was out of control.

Eternal rest, grant unto her O Lord.

And may the Perpetual Light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Gentle hugs to you, Dear One... I'm sorry you lost your Mom. But I can't be sorry that she is now at peace and pain free. Nor can you.

As above, gentle hugs... Morn, in your way. But please come back to life in not too long. She wouldn't want you to stay depressed, I'm pretty sure. I never knew her but... What Mom wouldn't say; "Live! Remember me. But remember me best, by living."

I'm so sorry. She must have been an incredible woman. I wish I'd known her. While memories may bring tears right now, you'll find, in time, they will be your greatest comfort.
